Back in August members of Cotton, as part of Urban Search And Rescue (USAR) North Carolina Task Force 9 (NCTF-9) were deployed to the Mountains of NC in response to Tropical Storm IDA. NCTF-9 consists of members from Fayetteville Fire, Fayetteville Police, Cape Fear Valley EMS and Cotton Fire.  NCTF-9 is a multi hazard team with members trained in Water rescue, structural collapse and many more.
